A Place To is an independent, privately-owned corporation that develops, constructs, and rents out fully furnished apartments in Western Europe.

A Place To is high end accommodations, a unique co-living concept for young people in education and recently graduated working professionals.

A Place To is closely associated with both the world-famous design studio BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, who designs residential properties for A Place To, and with Heimstaden who contributes with essential expertise on investment and finance.

Our mission is to create sustained value for our owners and tenants, by developing and operating innovative, high quality "co-living" homes for young contemporary life in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Austria and Great Britain.

A Place To Esbjerg (formerly known as Esbjerg Towers) is our first major project. The construction begins in autumn 2019. First tenants to move in February/March 2020. The project completed in late 2021.

Ask

Can I bring my own furnitures?

No, the apartments are fully furnished with design furniture from HAY.

Can I get "Boligsikring"?

Contact the local municipality borgerservice i.e. "Esbjerg Municipality" and discuss your situation with them.

Can I have my parents or my friends staying over?

Of course you can. If they want to stay over, they may rent one of our nice hotel-apartments for the occasion.

Can I move to another room or can I move in to one of the other A Place To locations?

You are always welcome to consult our website or write to the rental manager for information on current and upcoming vacant apartments in our properties.

Do you offer free parking and secure bike parking?

Yes we offer a limited number of places for the the residents and a storage for the bike.

How long can I stay in the apartment?

Generally, you may stay as long as you like.
I the city of Copenhagen, you will need to move out when you finish your education. If you need to stay after graduating, you may proceed to one of our available hotel-apartment.

Objectives

2020

Number one APT property is in construction phase, and the first 205 tenants are recruited to move in to fully furnished apartments February/March 21.

2021

In Esbjerg, 431 apartments are in full operation, and more properties are under construction in Denmark and Sweden, and several new projects are in the planning in the German and British markets.

2025

A Place To has over 5,000 homes in operation, in planning or under construction in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Great Britain.

2030

In 2030, A Place To is constructing or operating a total of more than 10.000 small and medium-sized rental homes in the target markets.
